Ingredients for 4 piece:
For pita:
- 250 g Bake-Free Home-made bread flour mixture
- 310 g warm water
- 4 g Himalayan salt
- For sauce:
- 100 g cashew
- 100g water
- Himalayan salt, grounded paprika smoked on beech wood
- tomato
- pepper
- red onion
- spring onion
- cucumber
- salad mix
- vegan cheese
- 50 g Mill & Folks pea protein cubes
- 150 g hot water
- Himalayan salt, grounded paprika smoked on beech wood, gyros spice mix
- 2 tbsp olive oil (16g)
Preparation:
"For the sauce soak the cashews in hot water.
Mix the ingredients for the pita bread and let it rest for 10 minutes. Divide it into 4 equal parts, then roll out a thickness of 1 cm on a dry surface. Place them on a baking tray lined with silicone baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees of Celsius for 20-25 minutes on the conventional top and bottom program.
To replace the meat, pour boiling water over the pea protein cubes, add salt and cover them for 10 minutes. Fry it in olive oil when it has absorbed the water, then sprinkle it with the spices. Fry on a low setting for a few more minutes. Rinse the cashews under clean running water and process them in a knife chopper until creamy with the water and spices. Cut the pitas, spread them with the sauce, and fill them with vegetables, cheese and meat substitute."
