BASIC BREAD RECIPE

Ingredients:

- 500 g bread flour mix

- 16 g sugar

- 14 g Himalayan salt

- 1 packet of powdered yeast (7g)

- 420 g lukewarm water

- 20 g oil

Preparation:

Mix the dry ingredients and add the lukewarm water and oil. Blend with a food processor on medium speed for 5-8 minutes until completely homogeneous and smooth. Spoon (with a damp spoon) into a loaf tin lined with silicone baking paper with a thin wall, at least 2 litres in size, and flatten. Meanwhile, keep the spoon wet as the dough will stick. Flour the top a little and cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 45 minutes, while you preheat the oven to 200°C with the oven on low and high. Once the bread has risen, sprinkle it with lukewarm water and place it in the oven for 40 minutes, then remove it from the tin with the baking paper and place it back on the rack for another 20 minutes. When ready, carefully peel off the baking paper and leave to cool completely on a wire rack. It can then be sliced, but is really best the next day.
